Help Alyssa Fight for Her Life

At the beginning of March, our family’s world changed forever.

My daughter, Alyssa, began experiencing severe dizziness, persistent headaches, and difficulty maintaining her balance. Despite the pain, she continued caring for her family and doing her best to live life as normally as possible, hoping the symptoms would eventually disappear.

They didn’t.

On May 15, her condition became so serious that we rushed her to the emergency room. Within moments, everything changed. Doctors initially feared she was having a stroke. A CT scan and MRI were performed immediately, revealing the devastating truth:

Alyssa had a tumor in her cerebellum.

That same night, she was admitted to the hospital. Just days later, she underwent an incredibly complex 11-hour brain surgery, during which surgeons worked tirelessly to remove as much of the tumor as possible.

Today, we are still waiting for the final pathology results to determine how aggressive the tumor is and what the next stage of treatment will look like. Every day is filled with uncertainty, hope, and prayer.

Alyssa is now recovering at home, trying to regain her strength before facing the next chapter of this fight. Her husband, Eric, has remained by her side every step of the way, sacrificing his own work to become her full-time caregiver.

Together, they are raising three beautiful children whose lives have also been turned upside down.

While Alyssa fights to recover, the financial burden continues to grow. Medical expenses, household bills, groceries, and everyday necessities don’t stop simply because life has been interrupted by a medical crisis.

As a mother, there is nothing more heartbreaking than watching your child fight for her life while worrying about how she will provide for her family.

Our greatest wish is for Alyssa to focus entirely on healing—not on mounting medical bills or financial stress.
